Kevin O. Meyers, Ph.D.
Dr. Meyers previously served as a director of Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. from June 2011 to August 2021. He returned to the Hornbeck Board as a director in September 2026 and has served on the Audit Committee and the Nominating Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee since September 2026. Dr. Meyers currently serves on the board of directors of Precision Drilling Corporation, an NYSE-listed publicly traded drilling company serving the energy industry, since September 2011. Dr. Meyers also served on the board of directors of Hess Corporation (formerly NYSE: HES), an exploration and production company, from 2013 to 2025, and as the Chairman of the board of directors of Denbury Inc. (formerly NYSE: DEN), a carbon capture, utilization and storage and enhanced oil recovery company, from 2020 to 2023. Dr. Meyers was Special Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer of BG Group plc (formerly LSE: BG), a U.K.-based energy company, from 2012 to 2014.
Dr. Meyers previously served in various senior executive roles at ConocoPhillips, an NYSE-listed publicly traded leading oil and gas company, including as Senior Vice President, Exploration and Production, Americas, from 2009 to 2010; as President of ConocoPhillips Canada from 2006 to 2009; as President of ConocoPhillips Russia and Caspian Region from 2004 to 2006; and as President of ConocoPhillips Alaska from 2002 to 2004. Dr. Meyers began his career at Atlantic Richfield Company, an independent oil and gas company, where he spent approximately 20 years in engineering, technical, and executive leadership positions, including serving as President of ARCO Alaska.
Dr. Meyers holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics from Capital University in Ohio. Dr. Meyers was selected to serve as a director because of his extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with over 40 years of service to leading exploration and production (“E&P”) companies both domestically and internationally, and the knowledge and insights Dr. Meyers will be able to offer to the combined company board based on his decades of managing E&P operations in geographies relevant to the combined company’s portfolio.
